Whispering Pines Cremation Garden

The first cremation garden in northwest Pennsylvania

Reflecting the serenity of neighboring Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery, Whispering Pines' landscape includes a pond with a gentle fountain spray in the center, mature trees, a small stream and lovely gardens.

Cremation is simply a choice that reflects the preference of the deceased and family. For some people, cremation is a family burial tradition. For others it is a way in which they ensure their return to earth.

Remembering your loves ones

Whispering Pines is a lovely place of remembrance where loved ones can visit. Garden walkways wind through beautiful natural settings designed for placement of cremated remains. Many of the strong, tall trees throughout the garden have distinctive memorial markers encircling their bases.

More places of rest include quiet granite niches, an ossuary memorial wall, and even special memorial stones crafted to hold the cremated remains of two people.

Whispering Pines is owned and managed by Burton Funeral Homes, so you are assured of the highest level of service and grounds maintenance.
