William R. Babe III

William Raymond Babe |||, affectionately known as “Bu” or “Booie,” passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025. William was a man who touched the lives of many through his love of music, dedication to his faith, and, above all, his devotion to his family.

William was known for his caring nature, selflessness, and unconditional love. He never gave up on anyone and was always willing to help others, even offering the shirt off his back to those in need. These qualities will remain his lasting legacy in the hearts of those who knew him.

William is survived by his mother, Donna M. Babe; his step-father, Kenneth Patterson; his sister, Michelle Serene, and her husband, Craig Serene; his daughter, KaitLynn Babe-Donald, and her husband, Carl Donald; and his grandchildren, Carl Donald III and Zendaya Donald.

Friends are invited to call on the family on Monday Dec. 15, 2025 from 12pm until the time of the service at 2pm at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, Inc, 602 West 10th St.  Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
