Wendy Taylor-Hamilton

Wendy Taylor-Hamilton, age 55, of Girard, passed away unexpectedly, Friday December 19, 2025, at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born in Erie on August 5, 1970, a daughter of Dimple Fox Taylor and the late David Taylor.

Wendy graduated in 1988 from Girard Alliance and went on to earn her teaching degree from Edinboro University and furthered her education in Mexico. She worked as a teacher in New Mexico for many years. She enjoyed life and loved kids. She liked painting, reading and doing needlepoint. She loved to go out to eat and spending time with family.

In addition to her mother, Wendy is survived her partner, Thomas Riley of Girard; brothers, Steve Barickman and his wife Dee of Albion; Shawn Taylor of Lake City; and Brian Taylor of Erie; sister, Heidi Cianchetti and her husband Brian of Millcreek; brother-in-law, Bernard Reilly and his wife Margaret Fitzgerald of NY; her first husband, Robert Hamilton of FL; aunts and uncles, Linda and Jack of Erie, Gary of Ohio and Karen and Frank of FL; four nieces and nephews, Alexander Digon and his wife Taylour; Bradley Digon; Brody Barickman; and Skyler Barickman; a great niece and a great nephew: David and Elizabeth.

Services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. Girard.
