Wendy C. Carlson

Wendy C. Carlson age 67 of Waterford passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025.

She was born in Ripley, NY on September 30, 1958, to the late Walter and Mary Swartz Lawton.

Wendy attended Fredonia High School and Ripley Central School.

She worked for Welch Foods in Westfield, NY, Keystone Foods in North East, PA, Merry Maids in Erie and Shell Station at Rt. 19 and Robison Rd.

Wendy enjoyed bowling at Lake Leboeuf Lanes in Waterford and at Lost Lanes in Cambridge Springs. She also enjoyed doing home crafts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; son, Roy Thoms; siblings, Walter Lawton, Jr., Thomas Lawton, Rosemary Lawton and Judith Lawton.

Wendy is survived by her son, Robert Thoms of Waterford; a brother, Charles Lawton and his wife Dolly of Ripley, NY; three sisters, Susan Lyndsley and her husband, Larry of Waterford, Kathy Lawton of Centerville, PA and Shelly Rathbun of Waterford; and an aunt, Crystal Reichard of Erie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends are invited to a graveside service at Waterford Cemetery on Thursday November 13 at 10 am officiated by her nephew Darrel Mason.
