Virginia Elilee Lewis

Virginia Elilee Lewis, aged 86, passed away on July 14, 2025, in Erie, Pennsylvania.

She was born on May 11, 1939.

Virginia dedicated over 25 years of service to Hamot Hospital, where she was respected and cherished by her colleagues.

Virginia was a loving mother and grandmother, known for her warm and nurturing nature. Her passion for crafting brought joy not only to her but also to those around her, as she often shared her creations with family and friends.

She is survived by her sisters, Barbara Hopkins, Shelby Fies, and Rebecca Hanson; brother, Robert Williams; daughters, Betsy Rodriguez and Linda Alicea; son, Carl Lewis; grandchildren, Alicia Rodriguez, Travis Lewis, Evan Lewis, Erin Lewis Bierley, Emily Lewis Davis, and Amanda Vollentine; 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandsons.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Beulah Williams; sons, Bobby and Roger Lewis; husband, William Eugene Lewis and siblings, Hazel Coulson, Joann Santiago, Walter Williams, and David Williams.

Friends are invited to Lakeside Cemetery (Section 7), 1718 East Lake Road, on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, to attend a 2:00 p.m. graveside service.
