Timothy Foor Jr., left for his trip to Heaven peacefully on April 1, 2026 at 6:50 PM next to his family while watching 90 Day Fiancé, a show he hated but tolerated for his spoiled wife. He fought hard against Glioblastoma for 21 months bravely. His daily verse was Joshua 1:9.

He was a devoted husband to Sarah Leone Foor; father of Harrison (wife Carley), Kevin, Hilary (husband Davon), Danielle (husband Aiden) and our baby Lily; and Grandpap of 10 kids.

Faith was his center. He was a true Southern Baptist. He was very active in Church Outreach, including the Fair Ministry, taught Sunday School and delivered meals to the community. He also served as Church Deason, right hand man for the church youth, served in the church choir – he would say not well – but he sang, helped lead the Men’s Ministry, started a young adult get together to bring single soldiers to fellowship and led many suppers and worship at the home. He would jump and run to anyone in the community that had a need.

Timothy proudly served our country active and inactive for 23 years as U.S. Army Military Police since 1992. He was certified as a FEMA Evaluator, certified to lead FEMA emergency planning, and certified for the National Fire Academy. He earned an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from FTCC. He also earned a certificate to be an Action Officer to train others in ARSOF Advance Protection Course, certified with NIMS that helped during natural disasters, was a certified First Responder, and completed the Action Officer Development Course from the Army Management Staff College. After his medical discharge, he served as Captain of Security for JFK Special Warfare Center and School before being promoted to Chief of the Guard for USASOC HQ on Fort Bragg, NC until 2022. He took pride in trying to be an honest, fair and good leader. He then worked as a Correctional Officer at the Lake Erie Correctional Institute in Conneaut, OH. He also took pride in looking at every inmate as they did not need to be judged, just treat everyone like Jesus would treat them. They are doing their time, it’s not up to him to judge, just be good and fair.

Those who knew him, knew he was dependable, strong, honest, by the book, loved God, cared about people and had no humor.

Outside of work and church, he was a huge Star Wars fan, Steelers fan, Red Sox fan, loved fishing, hunting, shooting, camping, but mostly loved being with his family. Whether quoting a Star Wars movie line or telling Star Wars facts, it brought him joy to show everyone his Star Wars memorabilia.

Timothy and Sarah have been together since August 2005. He leaves behind his parents, Timothy Foor Sr (wife Ellie); mother, Robin Bradshaw (husband Elliott); brothers, Rob, John, Joe, and David; sister, Bethany; mother-in-law, Edna (husband Willy) and in-laws who will miss him, Henry, Rebekah, Rachel, John and Brian. Tim will be missed so much but it gives us comfort to know that he was saved and in Heaven with our 10th grandchild, Kairi Foor and our dog Simba. He will be very busy with them.

Private Arrangements have been entrusted to Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 602 W. 10th St., Erie.
