Thomas "Tom" J. Lewis, 83, passed away on September 12, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital after a short illness.

He was born on February 11, 1943, in Erie, Pennsylvania, to the late John and Gretchen (McIntyre) Lewis.

Tom was a natural entertainer, a true jokester, and someone who made sure there was never a dull moment whenever he was in the room. He loved nothing more than watching The Three Stooges and sharing a good laugh with family and friends. An avid sports fan, Tom rooted for the Buffalo Bills through every season.

A passion for rock ‘n roll, he played lead and bass guitar and sang at Pappy’s Place in Wattsburg for many years. Earlier in life, he and his wife, Dianna, performed with the Erie Jolly Jesters, where Tom was fondly known as 'Chuckles' the clown. Tom loved the Lord, finding ways to worship Him by witnessing and passing out tracts to others, every chance he got.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, John Lewis, David Bizzaro, Richard Bizzaro, and Larry Bizzaro; and sisters, Doris Kuczynski, Kathy Bizzaro, and Barbara Novakowski.

He leaves behind to cherish him in memory, his beloved wife of 45 years, Dianna (Fuller) Lewis; three sons, Tom Lewis of Edinboro, Richard Phillips (Marcia) of Waterford, and Scott Phillips (Jennifer) of Union City; his daughter, Rebecca Bush (Patrick) of Lockport, New York; a sister, Micki Kuhn; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and his beloved cat, Reese.

Friends are invited to call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc., Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Road, on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 3:00 -7:00 pm. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at a later date at the convenience of his family.
