Thomas Frederick Davis, IV, age 38, passed away August 6, 2024 at UPMC Montefiore in Pittsburgh, PA after a battle with severe pancreatitis. He was born in Galveston, Texas on July 8, 1986 to parents Thomas Davis, III of Galveston, Texas and Kathleen Davis of Albany, Oregon. Tom graduated from Galveston Community College with an Associate’s Degree in General Studies and a 4.0 GPA.
One of Thomas’ hobbies was working on small engines, specifically mopeds, which were a passion for him. He also had a love for older cars and was skilled at restoring them to working order. In addition, he loved spending his time outdoors, reading philosophy, and being with his wife of seven years, Carrie Davis.
In December of 2023, Tom and his wife moved from south Texas to Erie, Pennsylvania. It was a dream of his to move to an area where he could enjoy a variety of activities all throughout the year and be outdoors more often. Although his time in Erie was short-lived, he enjoyed it very much and spent many days enjoying Presque Isle and other surrounding areas with Carrie. Tom did not get many years on this earth, but he made the most of them and worked hard to be the best husband and human he could be.
He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Davis, III, and grandparents.
Thomas is survived and will be sorely missed by his wife, Carrie Davis of Erie; his brother, Walter “Mike” Davis of Texas and numerous extended family.
