Thomas W. Byerly

Thomas Wade Byerly, age 70, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at UPMC Hamot.

He was born on November 26, 1954, in Niagara Falls, NY, a son of the late James & Jean Connell Byerly. Thomas was a 1974 graduate of Strong Vincent High School and worked for 47 years at Erie Plating Company.

He loved being outdoors, golfing, fishing and hunting. He especially enjoyed spending time at “Cuz Camp”, hanging with the Man Cave Crew and enjoying time in Florida with his best friends.

Thomas was a member of the Sportsman’s Athletic Club and the Cascade Club.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his siblings; Brenda Roache, Tina Seaman and Michael Byerly.

He is survived by his wife Kimberle Stanko Byerly, and his daughters Leanne (Robbie) Haupt, and Callee (Donovan) Owens; two grandchildren, Peyton Haupt and Everett Owens; and his siblings Patti (Richard) Seidel and Scott Byerly. He is further survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc. at West Ridge, 3801 West 26th St on Monday, May 12th from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m.
