Teali-Lennett Annie Harris

Teali-Lennett Annie Harris, age 41, went home to be with the Lord on August 31, 2026.

Teali was born on May 11, 1985, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Gennett Jenkins-Parks and Warren Harris. From an early age, Teali loved the Lord and was baptized and her faith remained an important part of who she was throughout her life.

Teali was preceded in death by her sister, Ashlee Parks-Harris, and her grandparents, Joseph and Anniebell Jenkins and James and Gussie Harris.

She leaves behind cherished memories with her loving daughters LaBrea Banaag and Ashlee Harris; her parents; her siblings Stephanie, Joseph, Gennett, Angelic, and Ameerah; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Teali proudly attended East High School, where she participated in ROTC, played basketball, and served as a drill captain at the JFK Center. She continued her education at Mercyhurst University, where she earned her degree in nursing. She also attended Great Lakes as a medical assistant and Fortis Institute, where she obtained a certification in health care. Recently, she attended University of Phoenix to obtain a bachelor’s degree in health care administration.

Caring for others was more than a career for Teali—it was a part of who she was. She devoted 20+ years to healthcare, working at various facilities and caring for countless people with compassion, patience, and love.

Teali had a passion for beauty, both within herself and in those around her. She loved doing hair and took great pride in making her family and friends feel beautiful, comfortable, cared for, and confident.

Outside of work, Teali loved to travel, enjoyed all things Mickey Mouse, and treasured spending time with the people she loved. She had a bubbly personality, a playful sense of humor, and a way of making everyone around her smile. Her home was always a place of warmth and welcome, and she gave love freely to anyone who needed it.

She loved her daughters with everything in her. She was their protector, their biggest supporter, their source of laughter, and their home. The love she poured into her girls was endless. She taught them the importance of family, love for the Lord, kindness, strength, and never forgetting to love the people who matter most.

Teali was an amazing daughter who loved her family deeply. She shared a special bond with her sisters and brother and would do anything for the people she cared about. She was also a loving aunt who cherished her nieces and nephews and enjoyed being a part of their lives.

To know Teali was to know her heart. She was an extraordinary daughter, sister, mother, aunt, cousin, and friend. She leaves behind memories that will never fade—her laughter, her jokes, her hugs, her strength, her beautiful spirit, and all the special nicknames she gave to the people she loved.

Though her time on earth was far too short, the love she gave will live on through her daughters, her family, and everyone whose life she touched.

Rest peacefully, Mom. Your love will forever be a part of us. Your laughter will forever live in our hearts. And your girls will carry your love with them for the rest of their lives. Until we meet again, we love you forever and always. —Ashlee and LaBrea

A service celebrating Teali’s life will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, 12pm at First Good Samaritan A.M.E. Zion Church, 3209 Pennsylvania Avenue, with Rev. Dr. Alonzo R. Smith.

Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery.
