Susan J. Wingard

Susan J. Wingard, age 76, of Girard, PA, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, August 25^th, 2023.

She was born in Erie, PA on June 30, 1947, a daughter of the late Clarence and Jean (Brotherson) Gwin.

She attended Tech Memorial High School in Erie, PA.  Over the years, Susan worked in assembly at Marx Toys, at Albion’s VFW, and Lake Erie Community Park.  She most of all loved spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her dear friends, as well as gardening, country line dancing, and was a member of the Deaf Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Susan leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons, Rodney Wingard and his children, Cameron, Ashley, and Paige; and Jimmy (Brenda) Wingard and their children, Dana, Katie, and Megan; one daughter, Debbie (Bill) Sandell and their children, Kindall and Peyton; a sister Carol (Jim) Johnson of Florida and their children, Brian and Lori, 16 great-grandchildren, and a doting partner, Ken.
