Sung Baek

Sung Won Baek, age 47, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at his residence following a battle with lung cancer.

He was born in South Korea on November 11, 1966 a son of Humdo and Jea S. Kwon Baek.

He was a devoted Decon of the Korean Presbyterian Church of Erie. He loved to play golf and started a golf tournament to raise money for his church mission.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Kelly C. Pak Baek; two children, Grace and Jaymin J. Baek; a brother and four sisters.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. and are invited to attend a service there on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Sang Mok Lee officiating. Burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Rev Lee will have a special service for the family on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. at the Church.
