Stewart Edmund Porter, age 35, of Millcreek, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
He was born in Meadville on October 13, 1990, a son of Donald and Diane Porter.
Stewart graduated from Meadville High School in 2009 where he played outfield on the Meadville Bulldogs baseball team. He was known as the most positive player. After High School he went on to trade school at Tri-State Business Institute where he excelled in artistic welding.
During and after trade school he went to work at Donjon Shipbuilding & Repair where he would work his way up from helper to A-1 welder over the course of 14 years. There he would meet and work with some of his best friends as well as meet his wife AnnMarie Porter.
Stewart enjoyed his years traveling with the baseball team, skateboarding, hunting, 4-wheeling and being outdoors. He also enjoyed hanging out with family and friends and listening to a wide variety of music. He always had his own style and took pride in it.
He is survived by his parents Don and Diane (Zalewski) Porter; his wife, AnnMarie (Chylinski) Porter; his son, Lazlo A. Porter; Great Danes Lyra & Syrax; several Aunts, Uncles, cousins and so many wonderful friends.
Stewart had the kindest heart. He would do anything for those he loved. He was the kind of human that not one person he knew could say a bad word about him. He deeply loved his wife, son, family and friends and will be missed beyond measure.
