Shirley Mae Tucholski, age 95, passed away on July 23, 2025, at her residence surrounded by family. She was born in Erie on October 4, 1929, to the late Raymond and Irene Haskins.
Shirley worked as a nurse for Sarah Reed Senior Living for many years. She sang in her church choir and enjoyed cooking. She was a wonderful mom.
In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Chester; daughter Ann, and son, Donald Brookhouser.
Shirley is survived by her children; Gail Drushel, Kenneth Brookhouser, Sue Kuebler, Becky Brookhouser and Robert (Vivian) Brookhouser; sister, Debbie (Roy); and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
