Shirley Ann Lorson

Shirley Ann Lorson passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Hamot Hospital in Erie, PA.

Born to Alice Coppersmith Lorson and Alvin William Lorson on October 28, 1947, in Cleveland, OH.

Shirley was an incredibly loving individual with a sweet personality. She loved reading, especially her romance books and watching movies, fond of Gun Smoke, Friends, and Law & Order. She enjoyed spending time working with her friends in the Barber Center Workshops. She loved kids, monkeys, and always had a sweet tooth for brownies and cake!

Survived by a sister Marie Lorson Hemmis and her husband Brian Hemmis of Cleveland, OH along with several nieces and nephews in OH and CO.

Preceded in death by brothers Daniel William Lorson and Charles Victor Lorson, of Ft. Collins, CO.

A heartfelt thank you to the staff and nurse at her home on Conrad Road for caring for Shirley and supporting her in a fulfilling life full of comfort, care, and joy.

Friends are invited to call at Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, 602 W. 10th St., Erie on Monday, March 30th, from 11 AM until the time of service there at 1 PM. Burial will follow in Erie Cemetery.
