Sheila Graves

Sheila Denise Graves, age 53, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 4, 2022.

She was born on April 16, 1969, in Erie, to the late Randolph Rankin and Rose Ellen Gore.

Sheila graduated from East High School and would continue her education at the former Tri-State Business Institute with a degree in business. Sheila worked in the casino business over 20 years, with her ending position as a Shift Manager. Sheila found her true calling through her Lord Jesus Christ as a counselor of God, wife, mother, and grandmother. Sheila loved shopping, cooking, singing, reading a good novel and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents and four uncles.

Sheila leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Marcus Graves, of Erie, PA; five children, Elliot Brown, of Erie, PA, Shavonna Brown (Bobby Jackson), of Miami, FL, Justin Brown, of Erie, PA, Parrish Brown, of Pittsburgh, PA, Ashton Graves (Layla Ibrahim), of Erie, PA; five grandchildren, Latrell Graves, , A’Monee Brown, Chrissy Allen, Justin Brown Jr., and Aria Brown; siblings, Thomas Gore Sr. (Becky Gore), Maria Peavy (Stacy Peavy), Douglas Gore, all of Erie, PA, Lisa Karo, Alicia St. Fort, of Virginia Beach, Stephanie Gore, Stephen St. Fort, Julie Rankin, Jennifer Rankin, Randy Rankin Jr., and Yolanda Rankin, all of Erie, PA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, Inc., 602 West 10^th Street, on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 12:00 P.M. Burial in the Erie Cemetery.
