Shawn Patric Leuschen

Shawn Patric Leuschen, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Erie, PA on July 17, 1984, a son of Donna Leuschen.

Shawn graduated from Maplewood High School Penn Crest School District, served in the United State Army and was an Iraq War veteran. He went on to earn a Criminal Justice Degree from Fortis Institute. He enjoyed listen to Christian Rock Music and loved spending time with his children.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded death by his grandparents, Robert “DeDe” Leuschen, Edith Leuschen and Rose McIntyre.

Shawn is survived by his fiancé, Kelly Beaujean; children, Abigail, Maximus, Shawn Jr., Jesse, Diana, Kylie and Damien; brother James LeRoy and his wife Jen; nieces, Adrianna and Myiah; nephews, Prestyn and Parker; grandfather, Stephen McIntyre and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. Girard on Thursday July 10, 2025, from 5:00pm until the time of service at 7:00pm with full military honors.
