Sharon Muse

Sharon L. (Vincent) Muse, age 73 0f Erie, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. 

She was born in Erie, PA on June 24, 1950, a daughter of the late James Martin Vincent and Mary Jane (Anderson) Vincent.

She was a graduate of McDowell Senior High School and Erie Business College. Sharon enjoyed camping, travel, was an avid golfer and contributing to charities. She enjoyed her retirement in Florida where she made many great friends and memories. She was a member of Erie Insurance Activities Association, Insurance Women of NWPA, American Cancer Society – Relay for Life Board Member, JDRF, St. Martin’s Center, and March of Dimes.

Sharon was employed at Erie Insurance Group, she also worked for the U.S. Air Force as a civilian, as well as at Gannondale School for Girls and Lakeshore Teresa’s Deli.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, James Douglas (Vinny) Vincent; an uncle, John (Jack) Vincent and a good friend, Mary Hanks.

She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer L. Muse, Julie L. Muse (Mark Shephard); a granddaughter, Abigail Jane Muse of Erie; a brother, John S. Vincent of FL; a sister-in-law, Cathy Vincent; two nieces, Lauren Vincent of FL; and Christine Muse; a brother, Richard and his wife Cathy Muse of Erie; cousins, Gail (Vincent) and Richard Schultz.  Sharon is further survived by many good friends: Evonne Hanson, Wendy Clemens and JoAnn Decker of Buffalo, NY. 

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 West 26th on Monday, March 4th from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m.
