Sharon E. Kennedy

Sharon “Sha” Kennedy, age 71, of Erie, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026, at LECOM Village Square.

She was born in Detroit, MI on April 27, 1955, daughter of the late Geneieve Moyer. Sha was a graduate of East High School, class of 1973, and attended Tri State Business Center. She worked in electronics for over 25 years and computers for 2 years, she then worked for Keystone Foundry for several years. She enjoyed walking, kickboxing, mountain climbing, and just relaxing by the water. Sha loved singing and dancing. She was a supporter of Wildlife and H.S.M.S. paralyzed vets. She was a proud member of Shiloh Baptist Church, N.A.A.C.P., National Society of Poets. She achieved various awards from Erie O.I.C.

Sha is survived by her daughter Aricka Kennedy, her granddaughter, Shaona Kennedy and great grandson Ny’san Sanders, all of Erie.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn-Scott Downtown, 602 W 10th St. Erie PA on Saturday, May 23rd from 11 AM until the time of service at 1 PM with Pastor Darrell Cook officiating.
