Sharon B. Hetrick

Sharon B. Hetrick, age 80 passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born in Erie on January 17, 1945 to the late Renford K. and Elizabeth Schauerman Hetrick.

Sharon was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and sang in the choir. She loved animals dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion, John H. Root.

Sharon’s wishes were to be cremated and buried in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Friends are invited to a graveside service on Thursday 11/13 at 2pm at Gate of Heaven Cemetery with Pastor Ralph Mineo of St. John’s Lutheran Church officiating.
