Sarah Anne Liebel

Sarah Anne Liebel, age 43 of Erie, passed away on Sunday October 25, 2026 in Pittsburgh. She was born on October 18, 1983 to Richard E. and the late Julie Ruth Vitelli Liebel.

She graduated from Central High School in 2002 and then earned a Computer Science degree from Tri-State Business Institute. Sarah worked with Home Care of Children for over 20 years. She loved music and crafts.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Richard E. Sr. and Lillian Liebel; her maternal grandparents, Silvin and Barbara Davis Vitelli, and her step grandfather, John Davis.

In addition to her father, she’s survived by her fiancé, Geno A. Harstein; her sister, Elizabeth A. Liebel; niece, Julianna Liebel; and nephew, Hayden Liebel. She’s further survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Mass at St. Peter Cathedral, 230 W. 10th St. Erie on a date and time to be announced with Fr. Michael Ferrick and Fr. Tom Tyler co-officiating

Private burial to follow in Erie Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
