Sandra L. “Sandy” Elkin, age 86, of Erie, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025, at UPMC Hamot Hospital. She was born in Indiana, Pennsylvania, on May 1, 1939, to the late Wade Elkin and Madeline Combs.
Sandra loved Celtic Thunder, Jeopardy, going to the beach, riding her bike, traveling to Florida, watching movies, and spending time with family.
She is survived by her children, Christine Spencer (Lester), Sue Fabin, Dawn Miazga (Bob), and Rick Fabin. Sandra is further survived by her grandchildren, Noah Spencer (Megan), Shari Rosa (Roberto), Joey Spencer (Jesus), Brittany Bojarski, Danielle Lopez (Norberto), and Josh Miazga. She is survived by 11 great grandchildren, a brother Curtis Elkin, sister Amy Powell and her nephews William Foster and Matthew Robinson.
In addition to her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by her siblings, Schelle Robinson and Rusty Hughes.
