Sally A. Range, age 91, of Millcreek, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Manchester Commons.
She was born in Erie on August 18, 1934, the daughter of the late Gilbert and Rowena Loeffel Ludwig.
Sally was a graduate of Millcreek High School, Class of 1955. She went on to work as a medical assistant and later was co-owner, with her husband, of Bill’s Mower Sales and Service. In her later years, Sally enjoyed collecting and selling antiques.
She was a longtime member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, where she served on many committees. She was also a longtime volunteer at Trinity Center and The Upper Room.
Sally was a compassionate woman who always wanted to help others. She loved to read, enjoyed gardening and had a love of antiques. Above all, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family meant the world to her, and she cherished every minute spent with them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Range; stepmother, Jennie Ludwig; daughter, Lauri Nowak; brother, Gary Ludwig; and grandson, Daniel Stafura.
She is survived by three daughters: Betsy Korb and her husband, Scott; Penny Stafura and her husband, Joe; and Amy Hranicky and her husband, Mark; brother, Bruce Ludwig and his wife, Kelly; son-in-law, Greg Nowak; sister-in-law, Marilyn Ludwig; grandchildren, Danielle (Dave) Kocurkovic, Andy (Hannah) Nowak, Jacob Korb, Lauren (Josh) Owens, and Joseph (Jocelyn) Stafura; great-grandchildren, Connor, Parker, Eloise, Elaina, and Emilia; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 West 26th St., Erie, on Tuesday July 21, 2026, from 4:00pm to 7:00 pm and are invited to attend services at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church on Wednesday at 10:30 am, followed by burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
