Ruth Robinson

Ruth Robinson, age 66, of Erie, passed away Monday, September 22, 2025, at her residence. She was born on January 1, 1959, in Cleveland, OH to the late Ralph and Jean Ferguson.

Ruth loved to sing and dance, host parties, cook, and take care of everyone; she was the glue of the family. She always made sure to dress well, donate her goods and time, and always made sure she kept her kids in line when needed.

She is survived by her husband, Carman Trott, her children Raymond Thomas, Lywanda Ferguson, Joyce Thomas, Tasha Ferguson, Temelia Mercer, Rashida Ferguson, Kamisha Ferguson, William Grenaway, Johnathan Ferguson, and Lydia Ferguson. Ruth is further survived by her siblings, Joyce Thomas, James Ferguson, Ida Martin, Joanne Ferguson, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Ralph Ferguson, Linda Ferguson, Raymond Thomas, Diane Manning, and by her grandchildren, Ashley Thomas and Shamar Thomas.

Friends are invited to call on the family Friday, September 26, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10th Street, Erie. Burial will follow in Erie Cemetery.
