Roxanne Jo Carlson Diehl

Roxanne Jo Carlson Diehl, 73, of Erie, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026, at her home surrounded by family, after a long illness with Bulbar ALS.

She was born February 26, 1952, in San Diego, CA, where she met her husband of 52 plus years, Mark C. Diehl.

Roxanne is survived by her husband, Mark, two daughters. Jodie L. Diehl and Elizebeth A. Towns, and one granddaughter, Charolette A. Towns, all from Erie.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Louis and Palmer Carlson, a sister Lynda Anderson, a brother, Richard Carlson, all from Austin, MN.

Roxanne graduated from Granit Hills High School in El Cajon, CA, and attended Grossmont College.

She was a past member of the United States Coast Guard Aux, a past member of Commodore Perry Yacht Club, Presque Isle Corvette Club, and a proud member of the Vikings Club #65, American Legion Post #773 Auxiliary, and a member of Wayside Presbyterian Church.

Roxanne was retired from Gertrude Barber Center where she was a residential care giver.

A memorial service will be held at Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 W. 26th St., Erie on Thursday, May 28th at 11 AM.
