Born on May 25, 1937, in Laurel, Mississippi, Rosa—affectionately known as "Maydear" or "Mother Gore"— was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Paige Sr. and Hallie Ann Thompson Paige.
In 1955, Mother Gore was united in holy matrimony to her one true love, Mr. John W. Gore. To this blessed union, five children were born. In 1976, Mother Gore began her lifelong journey with the Lord. Receiving the Holy Ghost in September of that year, she became a beacon of faith, leading her entire family into Holiness.
