Ronnie Wygant

Ronnie Wygant, 55, of Waterford, passed away Monday, December 8th, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

He was born August 6th, 1970, in Erie, a son to Ronnie and Barbara (McClelland) Wygant.

Ronnie graduated from Girard High School, then went on to attend Gannon University to earn a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. He worked various jobs over the years, starting first with crisis services, substitute teaching, most recently as a Lifeguard at the YMCA. He enjoyed hunting, feeding the wildlife, and spending time outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; their son, Tyler and his wife Jessica Wygant; grandchildren, Grayson and Gannon Wygant; siblings, Eric and his wife Deb, Tammy and her husband, Bill, and Heather; mother and father – in law, Larry and Florence Shallenberger. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 W. 26th St., Erie on Monday, December 15 from 3 PM until 7 PM. And are invited to attend a funeral service there on Tuesday at 11 AM.
