It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronnie Hall, who left us unexpectedly on November 30, 2025, at the age of 68.
Ronnie was born in Meridian, Mississippi, on October 6, 1957, to the late J.C. and Earlene (DeLoach) Hall. He was raised in Prospect Baptist Church in Meridian, where his lifelong faith began to take root.
A proud graduate of Meridian High School, Ronnie went on to honorably serve his country in the United States Army. After his service, he relocated to Erie, Pennsylvania, where he built a long and dedicated career. He worked for Ericson Memorial Studios for 10 years and served at the V.A. Hospital for 25 years, where he officially retired. At the time of his passing, Ronnie was employed with the Erie School District, continuing to give of himself through his work and daily kindness.
Ronnie had a warm and vibrant spirit. He invited everyone he knew with a kind smile and encouraging conversation. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Braves fan who loved cheering on his teams during the football and baseball season. Ronnie was always willing to offer a helping hand or advice, and he took pride in being an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He also had a passion for barbecuing, traveling, and spending meaningful time with family and friends. He was proud to be a member of Post 700 in Erie, Pennsylvania and was known to frequent the Post 771.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his half-brother Dempsey Keys and his Aunt Bula DeLoach.
Ronnie leaves behind many loved ones who will forever cherish his memory: his devoted wife, Patricia (Spencer) Hall; his children and bonus children, Twanna Hall, Michael (Natasha) Eason, Trey McWilliams, Sonja (Adam) Tate, Francecesa (Armand) Rainey, Patsy Ann Hall, Shaquille Hall, and Ronnie Hall, Jr.; his fur children; Rocky Road and Mocha Hall; his sister, Anne White; his twin brother, Ricky Hall; along with 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
