Ronald Murawski

Ronald Murawski age 76 of Fairview, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at his residence.

He was born in Sewickley, PA on January 15, 1946 a son of the late Stanley and Genieve Nowaczewski Murawski.

Ron was a graduate of Quaker Valley High School and went on to service his country in the United States Army during Vietnam War.

He started his career working construction for his uncle Frank Murawski and then went on to work with the Pennsylvania Fish and Game Commission for many years retiring in 2006.

He received his black belt and loved cooking, gardening. He especially enjoyed going out two nights a week with his neighborhood Pals.  He was a long time member of the Fairview American Legion Post 742.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Stanley Murawski Jr. and a nephew Nicolas Dowd.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Billie Davison Murawski; two daughters: Amy Sipes and her husband Ron and Jennifer Gorius and her husband Eric both of Ambridge, PA; Step Children: Lori Eaton and her husband John of Erie; and John Davison of Fairview; two sisters: Christine Murawski and Diana Radakovich, both of Sanibel, FL; a sister in laws Katie Bittner of Erie and Mona Murawski; Grandchildren: Seth, Sara, Mia, Paisley, James, and Jess; one great grandson, John Davison III; and two nephews: Steven and Cody.

A celebration of Ron’s life will be held and announced at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. Girard. Inurement will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
