Roger L. Ellis

Roger L. Ellis, age 77, of Fairview, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday July 21, 2026. He was born in North Tonawanda, NY on July 10, 1949, a son of the late Florence Hall.

He graduated from Ft. LeBeouf High School in 1968 and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Upon return, he worked at GAF Manufacturing until they closed. He kept active in his retirement helping others. He was a member of the American Legion 742 in Fairview and the VFW Post 740 in Edinboro, making his final appearance there on Sunday.

Roger was a great father and hard worker, always providing for his family. He raised his daughters in the Catholic faith, having them attend Catholic Schools, but was only recently baptized himself by his daughter Lisa.

He is survived by his three daughters: Lisa Ellis, Angie Ellis and Lindsey Ellis, his granddaughter Alyssa O’Connor and his favorite granddog Scout, who he took to the dog park often, and several brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews.

Private services are under the direction of Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, Inc. West Ridge.
