Roberta A. Bucci, age 66, of Erie went to meet her Lord on October 4, 2024, after losing her battle with cancer. She was born on September 6, 1958, the daughter of the late Marie D. (Ferrare) Bucci and Guido W. Bucci, Sr.
Roberta attended St. Paul Grade School, Villa Maria Academy class of 1976, and in 1980 graduated from Villa Maria College with a BA in Elementary Education. She received her Masters of Education in School Administration from Edinboro University and her Principal Certification from Gannon University.

Roberta had a sixth grade homeroom every year she taught and always said sixth grade was the best grade in the whole wide world. In 1999 she moved to the Catholic Schools Office as Director of Government Programs for the Catholic schools in the Diocese of Erie.
Roberta was very proud of her Italian heritage. She loved spending time with her family and friends, her family’s holiday traditions, Italian music, going to live theater productions, watching MGM musicals, reading, and shopping, especially bargain hunting.
Along with her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by her sister Linda Bucci and nephew Nicholas Bucci.
