It is with heavy hearts that we celebrate the life of Robert Lee Taylor III, who passed away at his residence on January 1, 2026, at the age of 29.
He was born on October 10, 1996, in Erie, the eldest son to DeShandra Chappell and Robert Lee Taylor Jr.
Robert graduated from Erie High School in 2018. He contributed his talents at the Barber National Institute where he worked in a day program workshop. He loved computers and DVD movies, especially Toy Story and Lion King. Above all, he loved his family.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Larry Carr and Deborah Noonan and his paternal grandparents, Robert Lee Taylor Sr. and Cheryl Mason.
Robert is survived by his loving mother, DeShandra Chappell, and his father, Robert Taylor. He also leaves behind his brothers: Rashaud Taylor, Rashaun Taylor, Keishawn Wentz, and Darvon Johnson; his sister, Korey Graham and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends are invited to call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W 10th St., on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM. Burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
