Robert J. Hoffman, age 87, of Fairview, passed away on Tuesday October 17, 2023.
He was born in Erie, PA on June 14, 1936, the only child of the late Marguerite Bax Hoffman and Joseph Hoffman.
He graduated from Academy High School and Gannon College, graduating with a degree in political science. He married Maureen E. Jones in 1960 and they settled in Long Island, NY. During that time Robert worked as a Cost Estimator in the Aero Space industry. In the fall of 2002, he and Maureen relocated to Fairview, PA.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Maureen Hoffman.
He is survived by his daughter, Stacey Hoffman of Sterling, VA.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. E, Girard, PA 16417.
