Robert "Bob" Greaves Jr.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” W. Greaves Jr., a loving husband, father, Papa, brother and friend, who left this world on January 21, 2026, after an extended illness, at the age of 75.

Bob was born on August 18, 1950, in Erie, Pennsylvania, to the late Robert W. and Marilyn (O’Neil) Greaves Sr.

He had a long career as a Corrections Counselor for The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. His loving and compassionate nature made him a great counselor. He was a devote Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. He had a diverse love of music and specifically enjoyed the Blues & Jazz Festival at Frontier Park. Known for his good sense of humor, he delighted in telling dad jokes that could light up the room. Bob was a parishioner of Saint James Catholic Church, where he volunteered as an usher. He was also an avid member of The Sunflower Club. He was a friend of Bill W. for almost 30 years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his uncle, Dick, Ronald (Nye), Raymond, Randy and Aunt JoAnne.

He is survived by his loving his wife Christy, children, Alicia Sanford (Mike), Kevin Stephen Renwick, Stephanie Rae Renwick (Andrew) and Sarah Michelle McQueeney (Cody); grandchildren, Mackenzie, Alexis, Jason, Olivia, Landon, John and Thea and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is further survived by his siblings, Kathleen O’Neil and Rick Greaves (Julie) and best friend, Mikey Monroe.
