Robert "Bobby" Culp

Robert “Bobby” Culp age 58, of Erie, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2026, at his residence.

He was born in Erie on November 14, 1967, the son of the late Thomas Eugene and Ellen Marie Brown.

Bobby was a 1986 graduate of Strong Vincent High School.

He was the former owner of Tivoli’s Tavern and worked as a Journeyman for the Erie Times News.

Bobby enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially on the Bay, working on cars and was a proud original member of the Bay Rats.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Kelly Culp, and a son, Tyler Culp.

He is survived by a sister, Rina (Joe) Irwin; a grandson, Jackson Culp and his mother Alexis Oakes; four nieces, Haley Nerlich (Lance), Amber O’Toole (Ryan), Kellianne Nerlich (Anthony) and Madison Chabot (Ethan); a nephew, Andrew Irwin (Cassy); three special friends, Mike Dobmeier, Brian Cooper and Bruce Coleman; two uncles, Jerry Brown (Michelle) and Don Brown (Nancy); his cousins, Shawn Brown, Mike Brown (Brenda), Cindy Carlson (Craig), Jimmy Brown (Liz) and Tommy Doyle (Wanda). He is further survived by his cat, Buddy.
