Robert "Bob" Costello

April 30, 1948 — May 22, 2025

Robert “Bob” Costello, Sr. age 77, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Edinboro Manor.

He was born in Erie on April 30, 1948, the son of the late Robert and Betty Killian Costello.

Bob graduated from McDowell High School and went on to work at Plastek for many years.

He was a collector of many things and enjoyed playing cards, bingo and working on puzzles. Bob also enjoyed recording home improvement shows.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Elderkin and a nephew, Curtis Elderkin.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Madeline Taylor Costello; three children, Robert Costello, Jr. (Becky), David Schell and Donna Howles (Curtis); one granddaughter and three great-grandchildren. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc. West Ridge 3801 W. 26th Street, Erie on Wednesday, May 28th from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00p.m. Burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
