Richard Lee Ireland, age 68, of Lake City, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 24, 2025, at his home.
He was born on February 1, 1957, a son of the late Tilman and Phyllis Neal Ireland.
Richard attended McDowell High School. He worked as a Silk Screen Printer at Custom Plastic Specialty. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking. He loved being with his family.
Richard is survived by his wife of seventeen years, Bonnie Ireland; sons, Erik Ireland of Oregon, Adam Ireland of Erie and Brad (Ashley) Fitch of Hersey, PA; a daughter, Ashley Fitch of Girard, three grandchildren, Vicki Ireland, Hallie Eicher and Adrianna Fitch, and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews also survive.
Services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Burton Funeral Home, Girard.
