Richard D. “Dick” Cuthbert, 83, of Erie, passed away in October 2025.
He was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, on August 18, 1942, the son of the late Richard Godfrey Cuthbert and Virginia (Gebbler) Cuthbert.
Dick is survived by his wife, Anita (Gavriloff) Cuthbert; his son, Brady and his sister, Jane Jenkins.
A graduate of East High School, Dick attended Edinboro University and served in the Peace Corps in Sierra Leone, the National Guard, and later in the U.S. Navy Seabees Reserve.
He retired from I.B.E.W. Local #56 and previously worked as a master-certified auto technician before starting his own radon and home inspection business. A talented and creative artist, Dick expressed himself through painting and photography, earning numerous awards for his work.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W 10th St, Erie, PA 16502.
