Richard Kelly Bentley

Richard Kelly Bentley, 60, of 5200 Henderson Road, Erie Pa, died unexpectedly on March 27, 2023.

He was born on August 12, 1962 in Jamestown, NY, to the late Daniel F and Margaret Bentley.

He attended Saints Peter and Paul parochial school in Jamestown and was a 1980 graduate of Jamestown High School. He was also a graduate of SUNY-Fredonia and Mercyhurst University. 

He retired recently from Erie Insurance where he was employed for over 30 years.  After retirement Richard volunteered regularly at an Erie food pantry and he was a member of St. Luke Roman Catholic Church in Erie.

Richard is survived by his brothers Paul (Judy) Bentley and Thomas Bentley of Jamestown, NY, and his sister Kathryn (Stephen) Schultz of Charlotte, NC.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Daniel J. Bentley.

A graveside service will be held on April 13^th, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Mary Queen of Peace Cemetery Chapel, 6000 Lake Pleasant Rd, Erie, PA 16509.  A memorial service will be held at a later date in Jamestown.
