Riccardo Liberatore

Riccardo Liberatore, age 81, of Erie, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the VA Medical Center. He was born in Erie, PA on October 14, 1931. He graduated from Strong Vincent High School, then served in the US Army from 1951 to 1953 and retired after 30 years of service as a postal clerk for the US Post Office.

He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, bowling and pocket billiards. He was preceded in death by brothers Tony, Jim, Pete and John Liberatore; and sisters, Kay, Jay, Florence, and Hilda Liberatore. Survivors include his wife Norene; and daughters Carla Rupp and Gina Fuchina of Erie. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
