Phyllis Kuzma

Phyllis M. Kuzma, age 75 of Erie, PA died on Monday August 31, 2026, at Fairview Manor.

She was born in Erie, PA, on June 2, 1951, a daughter of the late John and Luella Gere Kuzma, Jr.

A graduate of Northwestern High School and Tri-State Business Institute, Phyllis worked at Copes Vulcan for 30 years and then at Wegman’s Deli for ten years. Phyllis was a member of IAM Labor Union and attended Asbury United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting and crafts.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son William in 2004.

She is survived by three sisters: Joanne Kuzma of West Springfield, Patty Kuzma and Diane Kuzma both of Lake City, PA. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also remain.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East in Girard, on Tuesday September 8, 2026, from noon until the time of service at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Girard Cemetery.
