Phyllis Friedman

Phyllis Friedman, a beloved mother and cherished friend, passed away on February 9, 2026, at the age of 88 in Tampa, Florida.

She was born on November 12, 1937, in Erie, Pennsylvania, to the late Anthony Bucci and Florinda Chicatelli.

Phyllis was known for her kindness and patience in life. She was always there for friends and family, whenever they needed help. She loved to play records, enjoyed walks in the park, and swimming; which she started in high school and continued at the YMCA recreationally. She enjoyed playing bridge and other card games with small local clubs. In addition, she was a paralegal for over 20 years. Phyllis was cherished and loved by friends and coworkers alike; she will be missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Philip Friedman.

She leaves behind to cherish her in memory, son, Jason Friedman; who currently resides in Tampa, Florida.

Friends are invited to the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 West 10th Street, on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Inurnment will take place in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
