Phillip E. Szuba, age 60, of Erie, passed away on Saturday April 18, 2026 after an extended illness. He was born in Erie on June 26, 1965, a son of Ronald J. Szuba and the late Ruth Ann Shannon Szuba.

Those who knew him could attest to his heart of gold and his fierce protectiveness over his family in his principled ways.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his son Chris Sahovey; step children: Tyler (Megan) Mysnyk, Nicole Ortiz and Tracy Orsini; as well as 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
