With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we remember a man who filled every room with laughter, wisdom, and unmistakable charm—our loving, smart, and wonderful Peter J. Ozimek.
One of Peter's greatest gifts was his storytelling and memory sharing. With a sparkle in his eye, raise of an eyebrow and familiar grin, he could turn even the simplest moment into something we’d remember forever. His undying love for sweets, acquiring new knowledge, and fond memories of growing up on a farm are just a few traits that made him the man he was.
Peter leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, wisdom, and unforgettable memories. Though our hearts ache in his absence, we carry forward his spirit in every shared story, every thoughtful lesson, and every moment we choose joy.
Peter J. Ozimek, age 90, of Erie, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 27, 2026.
He was a loving husband to his wife, Patricia Ozimek; a father to his children: Susan, Daniel, David, Kim, Bill, and Nancy; a Papa to Robert, Kayla, Brandon, Megan, Nikole, Ellie, and Natalie and a great-grandfather to James, Holly, Saylor, Lilly Sue, and Kayden.
Friends are invited to call at Saint Jude the Apostle Church, 2801 W 6th St., on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 11:00 am until his 12:00 pm funeral mass. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements handled by the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Forever our Father, Papa, Friend—our storyteller, our teacher, our protector, and our source of endless smiles.
