Paul O. Schlabach, 50, of Erie passed away Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital.

He was born on September 2nd, 1975, in Meadville, a son to the late Oscar H. and Mary Sue (Wengerd) Schlabach.

Paul will be remembered for his exceptional talent as a carpenter, especially his skill in fine woodworking. He touched the lives of countless people, forming friendships wherever he went, and was loved deeply by all who knew him. Paul was intelligent, quick-witted, and always able to bring laughter into a room. Above all, he adored his children and carried immense pride in the people they have become.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Titus Schlabach.

Paul is survived by his son Paul and his wife Melissa; his daughter Adell Lane and her husband Greg; Adell’s three children; his six brothers; four sisters; and many nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call at Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 W. 26th St., Erie, on Friday, December 12 from 4 PM until 6 PM. Burial will take place at Pilgrim Fellowship Church Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
