Paul J. Pitt

Paul J. Pitt, age 65, passed away on Wednesday June 17, 2026, at UPMC Hamot.

He was born in Erie on April 12, 1961, a son of the late Mardell Stevens Pitt.

Paul enjoyed working on cars and tinkering in the garage. He also loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and birdwatching.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra; and his son, James.

Paul is survived by his sister, Diana Bequillard and her husband, Scott; his grandson, Devin. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.

Friends and family are invited to call at Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, Girard, on Saturday June 27, 2026, from 11:00am until the time of service at noon. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery.
