Patricia Sturgeon

Patricia A. Sturgeon, age 69, of Lake City, passed away on Monday September 7, 2026, at her residence.

She was born May 26, 1957, in Erie, PA, the daughter of the late Dean Barnett and Betty Sower Barnett.

Patricia graduated from Harborcreek High School in 1975. She worked for several years as a Nurses Aide at Pleasant Ridge Manor. She enjoyed canning, gardening, and sewing. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory J. “Hoss” Sturgeon; and her brother Richard Sturgeon.

Patricia is survived by her sons, Trapper Sturgeon and wife Elizabeth of Edinboro, and Josh Sturgeon and wife Leanne of Lake City, PA; a sister, Sandra Boyd of North East; and 5 grandchildren, Lily, Austin, Ally, Charley and Harper Sturgeon.

Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, Girard on Friday September 11, 2026 from 4:00pm until the time of service at 7:00pm.
