Pablo “Pico” Nieves, Jr.

Pablo “Pico” Nieves Jr., 62, of Erie, PA passed away on Friday, July 4th, 2025.

He was born May 20, 1963, in Utuado, Puerto Rico, a son to Pablo Nieves Sr. and Bernardina Monserrate Rodriguez.

His generosity was boundless— a heart wide open and hands always willing to help.

His energy was tireless, a force that moved through every moment, every task, every kindness. None of which will ever be forgotten.

Pablo was, and always will be, irreplaceable, an endlessly loyal Eagles fan, a mechanic of rare talent, a king of the kitchen and grill, a handy man, and most of all, a fiercely proud father, and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Carlos Nieves Sr., Jose A. Nieves, Pastor Alfredo Nieves, and nieces Diamond L. Robles, and Tamara Nieves.

Pablo is survived by his longtime partner, Carmen Crespo, his daughters, Rosemarie Nieves (Tim), Ashley D. Nieves (Juan), and Blanca I. Nieves (Isaiah), his grandchildren Victoria, Alexandrea, Landin, Yandel, and Alexa, his siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Rd., Erie on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 12 PM until the time of service there at 4 PM.
