Vincent J. Albano, age 57, of Fairview died Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born July 20, 1958 in Brooklyn, New York the son of Emilio Albano and the late Jean Benvengo Albano.
A longtime resident of Erie, Vincent worked as a union electrician with IBEW Local 56 and also taught classes at the Erie Institute of Technology. He was also a former coach with Erie Youth Hockey.
Besides his father, Vincent is survived by a wife, Teresa O’Leary Albano; a son, Patrick Ball and his wife Mallory of Erie, and 2 brothers; Michael Albano of NJ and Stephen Albano of New Mexico. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at the John J. Quinn Funeral Home, West 9th & Liberty St. on Monday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at which time Funeral Services will be held. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Erie County Diabetes Association, 1128 State St., suite 302, Erie, PA 16501.
