Julie Saul
I am so sorry to learn of Steve's passing. This is way too soon. He will be greatly missed. What a lovely gentle brilliant guy.

Steve, you will be sorely missed. I find it extremely difficult imagining a world in which you are no longer around.

I am shocked and saddened by the news of Dr. Ousley passing. Even though our time spent at Mercyhurst together was short, he was a great colleague and friend. My deepest condolences to his family and may his soul rest in peace.

Steve and I were friends when we were kids together at Capitol Hill Metropolitan Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. Steve was three years younger than me and that seemed to be a big deal at that point in life. It was his wonderful sense of humor and good taste in music (Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon) which, made me realize his brilliance. Today, I had to re-listen to the song The Great Gig In The Sky from that album in remembrance of Steve. My thoughts and prayers are with Steve's family and with Wes, his big brother, and also Cindy, and with Debbie his big sister and your families. May the Lord meet you with his grace and peace leading you again into joy.

Deborah sorry to hear about the home going of your brother. You always spoke great things about his travels and the great work he loved. Yes to soon but he was ready!

Steve was a delight to know and a generous and gracious scholar. He will be missed by many. Anthropology was better for his participation.

Forensic Anthropology has lost a brilliant scientist and many have lost a great friend with Steve’s passing. I’m a better person and a better scientist having known him. Condolences to his family.
